I know you've got a place in your heart for this one: A bioshock big daddy. It was a cardboard box head with a clear plastic face shield and the guy inside held a red flashlight in his mouth for that ominous red glow. He also had the outfit complete with a huge cardboard drill.
I'd probably have to say this guy who built a fricken 12 foot skeleton puppet around himself. It was huge and moved as he moved. Plus it wore a sombrero, so...
