The Stiche Corner - Sort of like a Norman Rockwell painting, if Rockwell had been influenced by hookers and cock fighting.

Island Mix

We've all thought about it. What 5 albums would we take with us if we were stranded on a desert island that somehow had a PA system rigged up and a little waterfall nearby to generate enough power to run it. It's difficult to choose only 5 albums for anybody to listen to in a given week, let alone for years on an island, but I thought I would give it a shot...

In no particular order, my island 5.

Bon Iver - For Emma, Forever Ago

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

Mastodon - Leviathan

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf

Radiohead - Kid A

Honorable mentions...

Slayer - Reign in Blood

The Killers - Hot Fuss

Elliott Smith - Either/OR

The entire Beatles back catalog.

What would make your list?

I know Kid A would also make my list. Definitely Takk... by Sigur Rós...

You have posed a difficult question, my friend.

Armchair Apocrypha by Andrew Bird, Sea Change by Beck, by Explosions and the Sky.

Every Direction is North by El Ten Eleven comes pretty close as well.
