I keep thinking that each post will be my last, but I can't help but keep putting on stupid ass videos. Maybe that's what this blog will be from now on.

A Feast For Crows
The new Bowie song/video is amazing. I'm way more excited for this album than I was a few days ago.

I have a question.
Alright, I have a question for anybody to respond to. I'm clearly not the person to talk to about pop music outside of some Arcade Fire, The Killers circa 2000, and The National, (but could one argue that none of them are really pop with the exception of The Killers?) I feel bad sometimes for making my love of metal and shitty indie/alternative/electronic music overwhelm this blog sometimes. As a result I really don't listen to the radio outside of NPR and the local college radio station and former beacon for our very own Mr. Day.
Let me get off my pretentious asshole horse for a second because I really do have a question. Because I don't listen to the radio, I really have no grasp on the overall musical landscape outside my small bubbles of influence I expose myself to which leads me to my question. I've really taken a liking to Florence + The Machine lately and I really have no idea how to react. Regardless of how they fit in the big picture, the band moves me so it doesn't really matter that this is easily the most feminine music I've probably listened to... ever maybe? And I'm totally fine with that.
My question is, what was the consensus of how their music is looked at when they were more of a big deal? Are they a slightly weirder Adele or did you guys not really check them out when they apparently broke big? Anyways, long story short check them out. They have some fantastic songs that are sublimely enjoyable.
p.s. this was written on my phone so please excuse any odd formatting.

I did not.
I went down that rabbit hole that is House of Cards. It's the new series on Netflix starring Kevin Spacey and it's fucking brilliant. It's made up of 13 episodes and in true Netflix binge mode, all 13 were put up at the same time which means I watched every episode in 3 sittings... I have no regrets. It's hard to explain anything about it without giving too much away, but it's about Spacey's character who's a representative for the Democrats, but he's totally fucking conniving and evil in the best way possible to get what he wants. Please, if you have Netflix, watch it.
Here's my new background because why not? http://wallbase.cc/wallpaper/600128
There has been more going on in my life and there is a good chance I'll probably do another post at some point tonight... Maybe. I've gotta wrap this up because even though I'm 23, I'm super excited about the Sony press conference that's about to happen that'll (probably?) announce the next Playstation. Super pumped.
